In the shadow of palm trees

Mpr Almeria - Merlo

Not even a year has gone by since the Spanish company Suministro Martinez became a Merlo handler for Almeria, and important goals have already been achieved, both in marketing and in corporate image.
It is more and more frequent to spot Merlo machines in this region.
The mild climate ensures an average annual temperature of 19 Celsius degrees in this area, where tourism and greenhouse cultivation are the most important economic resources; the Merlo Group offers effective and profitable solutions for both sectors.
P 40.17 is the telescopic handler that is most successfully used to build tourist facilities and perform maintenance operations; it is usually equipped with either forks or a personnel platform.
Compact models P 28.8 and P 32.6 are really appreciated for their compact size, that makes them ideal for all handling operations in greenhouses, for both vegetable and flower/potted plant cultivation.
A new machine, an Mpr 20 self-propelled platform – the first one arrived in Spain – has recently begun being used in that region. It is mostly used in the maintenance of street lighting and tree-lined avenues. But sometimes you happen to see it leave tarred roads and venture out towards the dunes to carry out maintenance on palm trees along the sea shore.
This, too, is Almeria.
